Rain, rice fields and a reason to ride
Heavy rain followed us through much of our first 120 kilometres, but the brilliant green rice fields transformed exhaustion into excitement. Every turn of the pedals carried us closer to our destination—and deeper into the purpose of the journey.
Along the way, we stopped at a village school to donate bicycles and learning materials to children who needed them. That moment reminded us that sharing is caring. At night, a local family generously welcomed us to rest at their beautiful home: an unforgettable ending to an extraordinary first day.
